Building of the new rink in 1949. By the fall of 1949 the above rink
was started by Contractors, Workman and Volunteer Labor. The cost of
construction at the time was figured to be about $70,000.00. The arena
was ready for use by first of December 1949. A artificial ice plant was ready for the 1953/54 season
